7 Healthy Food Eating Habits Exposed

Healthy food eating is just something everyone talks about everywhere you go. We’re surrounded by print and TV ads that showcase all sorts of “solutions” and products that claim to get the entire nation in shape. They’re simply all around us.

The thing is, with all the adverts for fat loss, determining the flukes can be quite a challenge. Today, I will expose some of these alleged erroneous beliefs, starting with the 7 myths on so-called healthy food eating below.

Myth #1: “Fat free” equals “calorie free.” Before you purchase food products, you read the front label for sure. But do you even bother reading the nutritional info at the back? Even if it says “diet” or “sugar free,” that doesn’t mean they are. It’s always wise to check the nutritional info at the back so you know what you’re really putting in your mouth.

Myth #2: Exercise only makes you fatter because you’re forced to eat more. Eating all of the essential macronutrients while on an exercise regimen is necessary. Working out won’t make you fatter because you actually end up burning more calories in the process. Healthy food eating without exercise is like running a race on one foot – you’ll get there, but just not as speedy end effective. Browse through this Fat Burning Furnace review.

Myth #3: High-protein foods damage your internal organs. High protein foods won’t injure your internal organs. Simply follow a balanced diet and exercise regularly.

Myth #4: Red meat can cause cancer. Isolating red meat will not make you cancer-free. Eating red meat every now and then is actually good for the body. They’re great sources of protein which can help develop lean muscle. Do read more about what Mike Geary has to say about healthy muscle-building.

Myth #5: Take out the carbs. Carb-free diets won’t do you any good in the long run. You need energy to successfully carry out your daily duties. While exercising, your body needs even more energy, so it’s still best to include carbohydrates in your food.

Myth #6: Forget about dinner. Healthy food eating means having regular, well-balanced meals throughout the day. Skipping dinner just isn’t the best course (pun unintended).

Myth #7: Salt is the enemy. Including some salt in your not only improves the flavor of your food, but you’re also filling your sodium requirements. Go for a low-salt diet instead of removing it completely.
