No matter what path you choose, you can ensure that your future is solid, especially in today's economy. You will have many opportunities to add to your nutrition education, increasing your value. For example, as you gain experience, you may add to your resume by educating others. This could be done by writing books, seeing your own clients or even teaching seminars. The experience you gain will give you a unique perspective that is a valuable tool you can use to create your future or secondary income.
You can give yourself a better chance at guaranteeing your income by receiving education in both types of nutrition; holistic and clinical. Both sides are important aspects of health and can work together to benefit all clients, patients or even open the door in research.
A clinical knowledge is important since food choices can lessen symptoms and even heal ailments of some patients. Food sciences are important for athletes and others who put higher demands on their bodies.
On the other side of the coin is the holistic counselor. Holistic health nutrition is important as people are demanding alternatives to traditional Allopathic medicine.
