Glyconutrients

Glyconutrients
Glyconutrients are monosaccharides, or simple carbohydrates. They are entirely different from other carbohydrates, though, because they are not burned by your body or used for energy.

There are a total of 8 known glyconutrients, all of which are necessary for your good health. Only 2 of the 8 glyconutrients are present in the modern-day diet. Therefore it is necessary to supplement the rest.
Glyconutrients are the communication system of your cells. Each of your cells in your body must be able to communicate with the other cells, or none of your body’s systems will function properly.

For example, cellular communication is very important to your immune system. Without proper communication, the cells of your immune (defence) system are unable to properly locate and destroy the pathogens and other invaders. Then you become ill.

When you have glyconutrients in your diet (generally via supplementation), you body will use them to make glyconutrients. Glyconutrients are a protein with glyconutrients in different formations around the protein.

Once your body has made glycoproteins, it will attach the glycoproteins to the outside of all of your cells. Your cells now use the glycoproteins to communicate with each other, locate and destroy pathogens, etc.

Although vitamins & minerals, antioxidants or hormones are equally essential, glyconutrients are different from these. Glyconutrients are in a class of their own and are absolutely essential for normal cell-to-cell communication in our bodies and normal functioning of all or cells, and organs.
