Yesterday, I've discovered a great baking recipe from one of my favorite cook books on making bread and right away gone in to the kitchen and have have begun putting into practice what I've just read. I like experimenting with them baking recipes, I am always getting better at this, every day and don't ever never have failed to create something that goes against the the description of the book of the afterwards result. And I worked hard at this one, as usual, a lot of time and after I finally opened my oven to see what I've cooked only to see something I didn't expect. Boy, was I angry. Not only I have discovered that this thing I baked doesn't look anything at all like I've seen on the picture, but it didn't taste anywhere as nice as the recipe said or as I've though I'd get either. It is true that bread baking is surely not an easy process and sometimes can be tedious, although it's all part of fun! I like baking, but today I've failed. The funny thing is that I followed the cook book from exactly step by step from that baking recipe I have read and sure did do everything right. So, what makes you a great baking expert? I'd say determination to succeed, the right knowledge and a lot of effort and experience. Some very basic knowledge changes the bakers experience largely. E.g. there are techniques which prevent bread from gluing to your cooking pan this can be fixed with some fundamental knowledge and yet can be extremely painful if you have not got this knowledge. So, having my baking recipes in your hands is just part of the equation. Also, talking about baking recipes, - how sure are you in that the recipe you possess provides you with the best available way you can bake? You won't know in many, unless you are good already. One other important in my opinion and from my experience components that will improve quality of your home-made bread is cornmeal. You can make your bread much better and tastier by just adding the cornmeal, and here is how it works: while you oil your baking pan, you add the cornmeal component to your pan after you slightly oil it as usual. This will cause the bread to stick to the cornmeal while you are baking & this surely will make your job a lot easier when taking out your bread after it has finished baking. That's it!
